A pretty sequin pencil skirt is a great take on embellishment that is normally reserved for holiday style. And Kristen Taekman’s pretty, and affordable skirt on this queen of “High Low Style” (deemed this by her stylist Christiaan Choy) was the perfect take on this Spring ’14 trend.  In fact, she was able to have me looking at Burberry for her steal of a skirt, proving it’s all in the styling. Now lets hope nothing got rough when the Real Housewives visited Wrestlemania, because we certainly don’t need any of those sequins being sacrificed.

I’m probably going to get hate comments for this, but while I think it’s a Real Housewives (and Big Blonde Hair reader) prerequisite to own a fedora, I just cannot get into them. Maybe it’s my enormous head, maybe it’s my fear of hat hair, or maybe I’m just hating, but I just can’t do it.  However, my fashion motto is “To each their own”, and if you are going to wear it, own it….And follow Kristen Taekman’s lead and put a cute little bow on it.

Wondering what brand curling. Iron Carole Radzwill was using … It was bit and white… Not familiar with this brand? Her waves always look so good! Please advise. Lisa D via Big Big Blonde Hair on Facebook

While I tend to think that I own an amazing curling iron (below) Lisa is right, Carole does have some good waves.  And if you’ve never owned a good curling iron, your hair doesn’t know what it’s missing…And it should.  So if you can’t afford Carol’s you most definitely need to get your hands on mine, you will not believe the difference if you hair has only seen drugstore brand.
